What Is Social Media Marketing?
Before a parent ever books a counselling call, they've usually already checked the institute's Instagram — faculty introductions, campus content, whether a DM about batch timings gets answered properly. Keeping that account genuinely worth checking, rather than a feed that's gone quiet since last admission season, is what social media marketing means for a coaching institute: earning trust over time, not buying reach the way an ad does.
Done well, it's less about posting frequency and more about whether the account looks like the same credible institute every time someone checks it. A parent comparing three institutes side by side is, in effect, comparing three Instagram profiles as much as three prospectuses, and an inconsistent or stale one loses that comparison before a counsellor ever picks up the phone.
